Dave founded Professional Auto Transport in June of 2003. It has grown from 13 car carriers at start-up to over 240 car carriers today. Dave has over 35 years of experience as the owner and CEO of automobile transport companies.

Rich Burns - Vice President - Operations
Rich has 33 years of transportation and logistics experience, working for Toyota and Burlington Northern Railroad. He has held positions in Operations, Planning and Analysis, Marketing and Sales, and Information Systems. Rich joined Professional in 2015.

Christopher D. Wilno - CFO
Worked in finance for 28 years. Started at KPMG and worked as an audit manager working with retail, manufacturing and service clients. After working on the initial public offering for United Road Services he joined them in 1998 as corporate controller. He has managed the finances of divisions and companies in the private and public sector ranging from $50m to $1B in annual revenue.

Gary Welter - OEM Operations Manager
Began with Ryder/Commercial Carriers in 1997 as Quality and Safety Manager. Ryder merged with Allied Systems in 1998. Set up their ISO 9000 process in the Western region in 1998 and was a corporate ISO Auditor. Was Terminal Manager at Long Beach, CA and Mira Loma, CA from 2001 until 2007 when he was promoted to Western Region Manager. Gary came to work for Professional in late 2011.

Raymond Angel - Director of Maintenance
Raymond has 15 years of various management positions in the trucking industry, specifically in maintenance and parts procurement. He started with Professional in 2013 as a shop supervisor. He left in 2017 for a time and rejoined Professional in late 2018, currently overseeing all parts and maintenance functions throughout our entire network.

Albert Oropeza - Driver Manager
Driver for Falcon Auto Transport from 1984 until 2002. Managed operations for Leno's Auto Transport from 2002 until joining Professional Auto Transport in 2011. Albert handles all driver-related issues including recruiting, training, and retention.

Mike Floyd – Operations/Quality Manager
Mike has 4 years of operations and quality management experience in the trucking industry since joining Professional in 2014. He graduated with a Management degree in 2014 from the University of Nevada-Reno, then completed his Finance MBA from Cal State Fullerton in 2017. Mike has experience in Driver Safety, Human Resources, and Technology Implementations.

Sam Davidson – CTO
Sam has been working for Professional Auto Transport since 2012. He oversees all IT operations. He led the product team for rearchitecting legacy system and automating various system operations. He completed M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India and has over 12 years of IT experience.
